Happy Even After…

Jana Galaxia Brisudová ako vždy v jej tvorbe, spája súčasné témy našej spoločnosti a staroveké filozofické myšlienky. Podľa gréckej mytológie bol človek pôvodne mužom aj ženou, bohovia však dokonalého človeka – Androgýna rozdelili. Tak vznikli dve pohlavia, ktoré sa odvtedy neustále hľadajú a spájajú rôznymi spôsobmi.

Brisudová senzitívne reaguje na dialóg o rôznorodosti. Vytvorila sériu unikátnych diel, pričom prvýkrát vo svojej tvorbe použila fúkané sklo ako poctu Bořkovi Šípkovi, legendárnemu architektovi, dizajnérovi a predovšetkým sklárskemu vizionárovi. Tento krehký a priesvitný materiál skombinovala s pevným bronzom, ktorý dodáva celej kompozícii stabilitu. Objekty Šťastný aj potom…, Šťastný a slobodný, Šťastný a pichľavý, Šťastný a plný, Veľa šťavnatých, Mäkká a plná sú zdrojom radosti, splývajúcich foriem koketujúcich tak s očami a zmyslami diváka, ako aj možnosťami ponoriť sa do myšlienok o spolupatričnosti, bez nenávisti.

Ako sama umelkyňa hovorí: „Bola to pre mňa nová výzva. Výstavou „He, She, They = We“chcem reflektovať súčasnú tému pohlaví, zjednotenia a spájania. Prostredníctvom krehkosti transparentného skla a hutnej pevnosti a stability bronzu tak vzniká harmonické spojenie dvoch odlišných, no vzájomne sa dopĺňajúcich svetov. Všetci sme jedno a práve túžba po spájaní a porozumení je základom lásky medzi ľudmi. Preto som aj do bronzových podstavcov zakomponovala a zašifrovala „mužsko-ženské symboly“ v podobe kvetín, alebo tvarov a samozrejme prerod z orchidei na bodliak, alebo naopak.“

Autorkine posolstvo je prostredníctvom umenia vizualizovať a zhmotniť rôznorodosť spojenia, rešpektu a s ľahkosťou bytia ukazovať čaro života.

Jana Galaxia Brisudová as always in her work, weaves together the current themes of our society and ancient philosophical thoughts. According to Greek mythology, humans were originally both man and woman, but the gods divided the perfect human – Androgyne, thus creating two sexes, which have since then been continuously sought and melded in different ways.

She sensitively responds to the dialogue of diversity by creating series of unique pieces for the first time in her career, using blown glass as a tribute to Bořek Šípek, the legendary architect, designer and above all, glass visionary. This fragile, translucent material is combined with solid bronze which gives stability to the whole composition. The Objects Happy even after…, Happy and Free, Happy and Spiky, Happy and Full, Lots of Juicy, Fluffy and Full are sources of joy, merging forms that flirt with the eyes and senses of the viewer, as well as inviting them to immerse in thoughts of togetherness, free from hatred.

As the artist herself says: “It was a new challenge for me. With the exhibition “He, She, They = We” I want to reflect on the current theme of gender, unification and connection. The ability of fragile transparent glass and the dense strength and stability of bronze create a harmonious connection of two different yet complementing worlds. We are all one, and the desire for connection and understanding is the basis for love between people. That’s why I also incorporated and encrypted ‘’male-female symbols’’ in the form of flowers, shapes and, of course, the transformation from orchid to thistle, or vice versa, into the bronze pedestals.”

The author’s message is to visualise and materialise the connection diversity, respect and with the ease of being to show the magic of life through art.
